Description | Tile Layer Contest
--Introduction-- The idea behind this contest came to me while I was creating a map for the BasedGod NUMA Contest. The foundation behind the Tile Layer Contest is the opposite of the Basedgod contest. Players are given data lacking placement of any tiles, instead players are given map data with a variety of objects placed. Using these pre-placed objects, players attempt to create a map by laying tiles. The map you are viewing now is an example of what you are attempting to do with this contest. --Rules-- 1. Players may not move or edit ANY of the objects they are given. No code editing can be done to any of the objects, either. 2. The ONLY items players can place are: The Ninja The exit and exit key Additional One-way platforms Up to 4 additional trapdoors (with keys) Up to 4 additional locked doors (with keys) Up to 4 additional normal doors Up to 3 additional Launch pads (Teleporters are allowed) Up to 2 additional Bounceblocks 3. Your map can be any style that you'd like, as long as it incorporates the objects given you. 4. Players can only submit two maps both of which have to, of course, use one of the presets given you. 5. Maps are due by May 7th. 6. Contest submissions must be tagged "TileLayer" --Prizes-- The winner will receive the best dedication I can muster, and feedback on eight maps of your choice. --The Required Object Layout(choose one of the two)-- One [paste.droni.es] Two [paste.droni.es] Myself and 123leonidas321 will be the judges of this contest. --Rubric-- Originality /10 Aesthetics /10 Use of objects /10 Gameplay /10 |
