I would make the left 8-tiles E-tiles.

Then, I would add a one-way 1/2 of the way out of that E-tile.

Jumping on the 8-tiles was kind of a bother.

The idea is also very good, and the execution was done great. The only problem I have is the gold and how it isn't very concrete. Maybe that's just a pet peeve of mine. Anyways, solid map.
