The B A L L O O N S only alter the shape of the B A L L O O N itself. The doors hanging underneath them are the actual gameplay device that's being copied over and over.
Besides, the aesthetic changes between the various types don't vary nearly enough for them to not be copies.
You can blame me minty and GTM (?) for these. Minty made a balloon based on a design of mine and it was featured by GTM (I think).

First of all. It's 'Balloons' everyone. ;D
And secondly ATOB, these balloons can be done in many ways, the way in my map or the way in that losttortuga feature [nmaps.net] or whatever.
Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is when people used your trees, they used them exactly the same every time, without change.
