Not to mention
that the majority of English words are borrowed from other countries or adapted from other languages (German, Latin, Greek, etc). If your problem is how people use syntax when speaking that's one thing, but telling people that some words shouldn't exist in the English language is ridiculous. Telling them that their spelling is improper when it's an interchangeable or alternate spelling is ridiculous. Such as Favourite or Favorite.
I'm surprised you haven't contacted Arachnid on changing it to say "Favourite" already. Sheesh. =.=
