That gauss always gets me, regardless of whether I hold jump or just tap it.

AAAAAA!
The second floorbot is pretty annoying.

Holy woah!
i just realised my name made it to the FAQ section of the site :o (underneath the tags part)
Pretty nice race - amazing for a first. Try and make your flow 'catch' the ninja, kinda. Instead of making a ramp where the ninja lands, guide where he lands with some curved tiles in midair, then make the ramp there. See 'flow assist' by me to see what i mean.
3/5

Good first race
I liked all the fast-paced action in the top part. Smaller things I liked:
- the ascent at the very beginning.
- the thwump usage (though it can be glitchy).
- the jumppad in the bottom right.
- the 7-tile usage at the top of the bottom left gold ramp.
Unfortunately, this map has some relatively big problems. First, certain maneuvers are too difficult or problematic to work well as a race (IMO). The floorguard in the bottom right is very strict, the thwump is occasionally glitchy, the gauss in the top right requires you to pay attention to how you approach and leave that area, and getting the top area right (meaning all gold) seems more up to chance than anything else.
Second, the flow needs to be more fully developed. Ideally, the whole map should interweave like the top area does. Also, minimize areas where the flow is awkward, like the jump into trapdoors and (for me) the jump getting up the the area to the right of the bottom gauss.
Overall, I liked this map more than I disliked it, so I'm giving a 3/5. And btw, I have also delved into race maps only once (though I'm working on a second).
