taking a few liberties in the name of style

is one thing, but the clumped gold and the one ways just don't do it for me, although it's funny that you placed the rocekt in the same place I did when I was messing with these tiles

i dont do it to distract from the gameplay, but appearance of the map is one of the deciding factors that make a good map. so yes. minus the distraction thing. if i did that, it would be on purpose for a totally different weird concept.

well that all depends on what you meant by 'helped me'

it helped me realize you are to quick to judge a map. same with my other really good map "pitching away the sunlight" you were to quick to judge (you admitted it too) and i dont think you grasped the concept. when unused items or tiles are in my maps, they are there for fancyness and coolocity and nothing else (if they are not being used).
