Description | A map for the heck of it.

Yoo Bee Eff, inspired by the legendary monument to Kablizzy, UBF.
This map is a true representation of what makes a map incredible. Kisler has recreated the feel of UBF perfectly, and added his own little twist, laser drones. The laser drones in this map are used ingeniously, with gaps in the tileset, then filled with a mine, as they allow the laser drones unrestricted movement, but greatly restrict paths that the ninja can take. This is an incredible map, and I suggest that everyone play it.

when a bunch of overactive people build a community.
That would be what comments are for

Mekkah
I can't even tell which side you are arguing for...
Fun map. Lasers were well timed.

Mekkah,
STFU. Just because you don't agree with some of us doesn't mean you have to start cursing and annoying. Listen to NIGHTMARE619. This map was featured and there is absulutely nothing you can do about it. Awesome map.

Hmm
I'm not going to lower myself into the fray, apart from to say it's a tad humourous that this was dedicated to squibbles a few days ago, and then is mysteriously featured, by squibbles.

but who says it is below average?
you can't honestly think that this is going to be unsubjective? Thats what the rating system is for.

subjectivity is great and all
but surely if the featured maps page starts to become overloaded with below average maps, then people will stop paying attention to the featured maps, and the system becomes worthless.

My two cents...
This does not deserve any more than a four, in my opinion. The concept and basics I find great; but in my opinion, it doesn't feel like it has the qualities of a fiver. Not exactly fun, no flow at all, and I really don't feel the urge to play it again after I complete it; which, in my experience, usually means the map has been made well. Quite a good map, perhaps, but only that, and not much more.
Yes, squibbles seems to love this, and thus he has every right to feature it; since, as Nightmare619 said, subjectivity has relevance. I think if anyone wants to say that they think this map is not deserving of a feature, they have the complete right to do so; after all, squibbles does not need to give them any mind at all, as they are expressing what they would have done differently. If subjectivity plays such a part in featuring, then anyone who doesn't think the map should be featured just expresses their (subjective) opinion.

Are you guys serious?
You've got to be kidding me. I thought this crap would end with "not bitesize worthy," but I was sadly mistaken. Haven't you dicks ever heard of something called subjectivity? Obviously, this map was outstanding in some way to -the person who featured it-.
Christ. It's like saying "since I don't think this map is worthy of being featured, no one can feel otherwise."

Too bad. It's the user's opinion.

I second the movement
This map was not awesome. I could have thought of 1,000 maps to feature other than this. The back and forth idea made the map a bit boring, and there wasn't enough gold for the length. After playing once and dying, I did NOT feel like going through all that again. The feel wasn't very good, and the E tiles provided almost no flow at all. I also didn't like the gold. But I probably wouldn't be this harsh if it wasn't featured.
Also, it felt nothing like UBF.

I disagree with the feature.
Strongly.

AGD
By the way, I'd say that Formica is a bigger contributor than Kablizzy. He has 250+ maps, all of which are highly rated. I'm pretty sure he invented (or at least popularized) the race and DDA genres. He also made some fairly comprehensive glitch-based maps.
However, the most important contributors to the community are, without a doubt, Mare and Raigan.

Really good map,
I have a insanely slow demo on Nreality, but it was really good gameplay and i liked the tileset style because it is hard to pull that off.

Very nice
I especially loved the way that you cut off access to part of the level for the ninja, but kept the drones able to go/see anywhere. Brilliant drone placement, and I'm very glad that you used mines not oneways. I wen't into edit and swapped them, and it just looked hideous.
Great map, I'll give it 5/5aved + review.
