Because it's in-fucking-possible to moderate language on this site, but we have to compromise by moderating other types of content. If we banned every user that repeatedly used foul language then you and I and almost everybody except for the goody-goody two shoes would be gone.

More people would like it. It wouldn't of been delisted. There wouldn't be so much comments.

origami_alligator, you're missing the point! Coarse Language is the problem - heck, it is probably worse than tiles immaturely shaped like tiles. Now personally, I have been pretty much desensitizied to offensive language, however, the higher-ups are being hypocrites by not allowing a certain type of object arrangement in maps, yet allow swearing. Make NUMA either G or MA15+ not some weird nonsensical compromise. That's what I'm trying to say.

Anyway, the occasional silly feature is justified, after all, we all like a laugh, right? It's just a joke, and I respect that PALEMOON put his balls on the line for the sake of comedy. Yeah.

It was a silly thing to feature, like asthe said, but it is funny. It's just a little fun. Get over it.

Pitch, the reason so many maps from well known authors are featured is because then the reviewers know where to look. Chances are, if the author is well known for their mapping ability, they're going to have some masterpieces. I agree, alot of authors - Yungerkid, for example - do deserve features but don't have one. But not every map on NUMA can be featured, and when you say that, it makes it sound like you're just gasping for a feature.

So yeah, settle down everyone. It's just some fun.

As someone said, if reviewers have the right to post maps like this, we have the right to voice our opinions against them. I personally think it's a pretty tight couch, i dislike the swearing and all the stink people are making about this feature.

And maps by unknown or lesser known mappers are preferable, because oftentimes people who are greatly known get a lot of their maps featured while lesser known (but good) mappers don't get features. As Origami Alligator said, it's hard to find unknown mappers, but hey, why don't reviewers just step up and find them, don't sit back and be lazy.

I'd be willing to try to find those maps, i run in to them at least "3 to 4" times a month going through random maps in Nreality. So if the reviewers aren't going to step up and diversify in their reviewed maps, i'll go apply. am i overreacting? probably. but oh well

in all serious though, how come the very same moderators who approve of this map don't approve of tiles shaped like penises? Seems a bit contraDICKting to me.

I do feel very slightly angry that this is one chance that a good map wasn't featured, with that map by some crazy reason being my first featured map, but I don't care that much as long as 3 or 4 people see my said map. No, the only thing I really oppose of this is the unkind word in the title.

I could've made just as good of a couch, but I wasn't the one who thought of the idea. Funny idea, I had a good time figuring out why somebody featured it (especially somebody named palemoon) and got a good laugh out of it. I overall approve of this feature.
